Community-Wide Meal Outreach Update

Westwood organized a community outreach project to target homes in need in Wilsonville, Vincent, Columbiana, Pelham, Calera and Alabaster.  95% of the home visits were in Alabaster area. They distributed hot meals, winter wear, toiletry items, gift cards and New Testament Bibles to people in need.They had 50 volunteers and were able to visit 59 homes in community.

Community-Wide Meal Outreach

Westwood has organized a community outreach project. We will canvas targeted areas in Alabaster and distribute hot, delicious meals, Bibles, clothes and toiletries.  If you would like to be the hands and feet of Jesus and participate in this event, please give us a call.  Come and join us!

Who Are We Serving:
Serving the elderly and less fortunate in Alabaster

Where:
Distributing from Shelby County Instructional Services cafeteria at Hwy. 31 and Hwy. 119

When:
Saturday, December 18 from 10:30am-12:00pm

How Can You Help:

  • Begin praying for the people we are serving, the event and our church family!
  • Consider donating children’s new/gently used coats of all sizes.
  • Consider volunteering to deliver food. We are looking for 20-30 volunteers to help deliver the food  (entire families can participate)
