Brazil Medical Mission Trip Fundraiser

The Brazil Mission Trip Team is having a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser tomorrow morning from 8-10am at Applebee's in Pelham on 119.

This is an opportunity to help out the Brazil mission team with a great fund-raiser for medical supplies for this year's medical clinic in Rio de Janeiro June 2-12. The team would love to have you there so we could serve you pancakes, sausage and juice with a smile:) Tickets are available from any team member or just show up for the fun!!   $5 each!  Tell all your friends! It is going to be a great time!

The Hispanic community is having a conference on March 5 from 10:00am to 3:30pm at the Briarwood Presbyterian Church with Steve Saint as their speaker.  Jose Luis Leon is looking for interested people to teach classes on mission work for the children which are divided into three age groups, 1-5, 6-10 and 11-15 year olds. 

He also needs volunteers to play games with the kids and for parking assistance.

Son Light Missions in need of Supplies

 Betty from Son Light Missions in Jemison, AL phoned Dan Sipes this morning (January 7) and said they had three homeless people come to their shelter last night and the police found another homeless person this morning and brought them there as well. That puts their total at 20 homeless people.

Son Light Missions is in desperate need extra materials to help these people.

     x. twin mattresses or bunk beds
